The Islanders have recalled forward Anthony Beauvillier, the organization announced.
Beauvillier, 20, has played in 31 games with the Islanders this season. He's accumulated 7 points, with 4 goals and 3 assists and is a minus-8. In 66 games with the Islanders last season, he had 24 points with 9 goals and 15 assists. He was a plus-1.
The forward scored two goals with the Islanders' AHL affiliate, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, on Friday. He was drafted 28th overall by the Islanders in 2015.
Prior to joining the Islanders, Beauvillier played for the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2013-16. He scored 206 points in 178 games with the Cataractes: 91 goals and 115 assists. He was a two-time all-star.
Beauvillier will rejoin the Islanders ahead of their game against the Devils on Sunday at 1 p.m. The team is stuck in a five-game losing streak.
