After Sunday's game 'Gold Wig Guy,' also known as Craig Stanley, was arrested outside the Coliseum. According to East Meadow Patch:
[sny-box]A West Hempstead man was arrested on charges he forcibly touched a female in the Nassau Coliseum parking lot after the Islanders game on Sunday night.
According to detectives, a 21-year-old victim was standing outside the Uniondale-based Coliseum with friends when Craig Stanley, 54, allegedly approached the group and proceeded to touch the victim in an inappropriate manner.
Stanley is charged with Forcible Touching and is scheduled to appear on March 19 at First District Court in Hempstead.[/sny-box]
The name and age of the attacker matches the 'gold wig guy,' noted in this 2001 piece about a Charles Wang Q&A with fans:
[sny-box]Later, he challenged the anti-Milbury crowd. ``If you don't like him, don't come to the games,'' Wang said.
The most vocal fan was Craig Stanley, a 42-year-old diehard from West Hempstead. Stanley, who wore a gold metallic wig and an Islanders shirt, pestered Wang about Milbury and coach Butch Goring.[/sny-box]
That same scene was also noted in the book Fish Sticks.
