The Islanders are looking to keeping their winning ways going tonight in Edmonton.
The Isles will face the Oilers for the first time this season to extend their winning streak to four games. They are also 7-1-1 in their last nine games and tied a franchise record for most wins in the first 37 games of the season with their 2-1 victory over the Flames on Friday.
After tonight the Islanders won't see the Oilers again until February 10.
Jaroslav Halak will start in net for the Islanders. It will be his 300th career NHL start. The rest of the Islanders lineup will remain the same for tonight's game.
Ben Scrivens will make his fourth consecutive start for the Oilers.
