[sny-box]The Least You Should Know About the Rangers... The Rangers are 4-3 in their last 7, including a 5-3 loss to the Isles at the Garden last Tuesday... The Rangers beat the Devils at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, 7-3... [/sny-box]
It's finally time for the Isles' outdoor game at Yankee Stadium, as they "host" the Rangers tonight. It'll be very cold tonight as the Weather Channel predicting a 21*F temp at puck drop, which will surely drop throughout the night. TWC says it will "feel like" 7*F, whatever that means.
To further complicate things tonight, the LIRR is a mess. You can always count on them. As of right now, all train service west-bound between Jamaica and Penn Station has been suspended, which means there are trains if you're heading back to the Island. If you're on your way in to the game you're screwed (for the moment). You can jump on the subway from Jamaica to get to the Bronx, although that is a long ride.
On the ice, the Rangers will be starting Henrik Lundqvist tonight. The Islanders are expected to start Evgeni Nabokov but nothing is confirmed as of yet (including the lineup). Travis Hamonic will be out, as he was added to injured reserve yesterday.
The following is the lineup from Monday night that got shifted around during the game, splitting up Vanek-Tavares-Okposo, sans goalies:[sny-box]
