Tonight the Islanders will finish up their Canadian road trip with a late night matchup against the Vancouver Canucks, having gone 1-1-1 thus far. It's the fourth game of the trip before returning home for back-to-back games at the Coliseum on Friday and Saturday.
Vancouver will start the up and coming Eddie Lack in net after getting rid of two solid netminders in the last 10 months. First it was Corey Schneider getting shipped to the Devils at last June's draft and last week it was the team finally parting with Roberto Luongo and sending him back to whence he came (Florida). Lack has been good though, putting up a .922 SVP in 28 games so far this season. They've also got another young goalie to battle for a job in Jacob Markstrom acquired in the Luongo trade.
The Islanders will skate with the same lineup they had on Friday night in Calgary with the exception that Evgeni Nabokov will be in net.
