[sny-box]The Least You Should Know About the Wild... Minnesota sits seventh in the Western Conference, five ahead of ninth place Dallas...  With Josh Harding and Niklas Backstrom out the Wild are down to their third netminder, which led to the acquisition of Ilya Bryzgalov at the trade deadline... Matt Moulson will return to the Coliseum for the first time since the October trade that sent him to the Buffalo Sabres. Since then, the Sabres flipped him to Minnesota at the trade deadline for Torrey Mitchell and two second rounders. Between Minnesota and Buffalo, Moulson has racked up 12 goals and 31 points in 50 John Tavares-less games.[/sny-editoria]

Here's Moulson talking to Newsday earlier today about leaving the Islanders:

[sny-box]"I made some of the best friends I've had in my life with that team. We were a pretty close group," Moulson told Newsday on Sunday evening, just after the Wild landed in Boston for a game Monday night with the Bruins. "To be taken away from that was tough. It was extremely tough on myself and my family, especially coming out of the blue like it did for me."[/sny-box]

Tonight defender Kevin Czuczman will make his NHL debut for the Islanders. He was signed as a college free agent out of Lake Superior State last week. Matt Carkner will take a seat to make room on defense and the de Haan-Hamonic pairing will be broken up as Czuczman will partner up with Hamonic. Anders Nilsson will get the start in goal. Here's the projected lineup:
