[sny-box]The Least You Should Know About the Lightning... At the deadline veteran Marty St. Louis requested a trade and was moved to the Rangers for Ryan Callahan and draft picks... Mattias Ohlund is the only major injury for Tampa that will miss tonight's game... Eight players have 10+ goals for Tampa this season, led by Valtteri Filppula with 24... Ben Bishop is the confirmed starter for tonight...  [/sny-box]

Tonight is the 10th-to-last game of the year for the Islanders as they take on the Lightning in Tampa Bay. As is tradition the tendency of Jack Capuano, there will not be any changes to the lineup after Tuesday night's win in Carolina. The rest of today's post is a combined Game Day/ Morning Skate. Lineups are after the jump.

The Islanders have had a number of players only meetings this season -- we were keeping count on Twitter earlier, I think the number may be four. Justin Bourne of the Score weighed in on the topic after the division-leading Penguins had a meeting of their own earlier in the week. It's interesting to read about it from a former player's perspective, a side we usually don't get to hear.

Bourne writes there are generally two types of these meetings, one the right after the game post-loss meeting:

[sny-box]These meetings tend to arise organically, if I may use a stupid buzzword. It’s rare for a team that just lost to walk back into the dressing room, and start taking off their gear and begin chatting. The majority of guys will spend some time, even a few minutes, slumped in their stall in full gear, reflecting on what just went wrong.

I found those meetings relatively pointless, and the more you have them (and you have them a lot on bad teams) the less weight they hold. Maybe meaningful change can come from one if you only have one or two a year. Beyond that it comes off as motherly nagging from a captain trying too hard to play captain.[/sny-box]

And also before practice the following day:

[sny-box]When you arrive at the rink the next day with a good night’s sleep under your belt, some breakfast in you and a clearer head, “players-only” meetings tend to be more productive. (Though at some point it’s still mandatory to say ”Eff that guy, we have to do this for ourselves” and belittle the coach in some way.)

They’re usually “chaired” by the guy who felt it necessary to organize the town hall, and everyone is encouraged to talk.[/sny-box]

A third Reinhart brother could be drafted this summer, Sam, a center who plays for Kootenay in the WHL. The Isles' Griffin is the middle brother, drafted in 2012, and the oldest brother Max was selected by the Flames in 2010.

Also: If you're looking for the Eyes on Isles guys, they have moved... Eric Hornick writes that the Isles four goals in Tuesday's first period was the quickest the team has ever gotten four goals to start a game...

Projected Lineup:
Lee-Nielsen-Okposode Haan-HamonicNabokov
Scratches: Martinek, Strait, Visnovsky, Boulton IR: Tavares, Grabner
