Well it appears some fans are doing just that.
There are still some hockey games to be played in Uniondale, but fans reportedly took a couple seats with them after the Isles defeated the Washington Capitals 2-1 in overtime on Sunday.
A sports photographer from NBC 4 in Washington captured an image on Monday of a seat that had been hijacked:
Hopefully, that seat is replaced before Tuesday's Game 4, or some ticket holder will be in for a big surprise when they get to their seat.
If this is what happened after Game 3, with at least one more playoff game to go at Nassau Coliseum, one has to wonder what will happen after the final game in the building. Will there be a sea of people walking out with seats?
After seeing this, it's safe to say that at least a few people will be walking away with "special" souvenirs when the final game comes to an end.
