The Islanders decided to send F Jan Kovar to AHL Bridgeport when making their final roster cuts. Well, Kovar hasn't showed up to the Sound Tigers.
According to The Athletic's Arthur Staple, Kovar is taking some time to figure out what he wants to do next.
Kovar played the past five seasons in the KHL, and joined the Islanders on a reported one-year, $2 million deal. However, he didn't impressed the Islanders enough in camp to keep him for the start of the season.
The 28-year-old was also sent down with D Devon Toews, who immediately reported to Bridgeport.
