Islanders D Ryan Pulock has agreed to a two-year contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
Pulock played in 68 games with New York last season, where he totaled career highs in goals (10) and assists (22). Overall, the 23-year-old has 36 points over 84 career games.
The 15th overall pick by the Islanders back in 2013, Pulock has spent most of his career with the AHL Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He has totaled 100 points (39 goals, 61 assists) during his time there.
With defense being an area of emphasis for the Islanders this season, Pulock will aim to be one of those players that looks to improve in 2018.
