The Islanders have recalled Shane Prince from his conditioning stint with Bridgeport of the AHL.
The 25-year-old Prince has yet to play for the Islanders this season after undergoing ankle surgery over the summer.
Prince tried to play through/rehab a high-ankle sprain last season, but the team announced after the season ended that he had "increasing discomfort" that led to the surgery.
Prince had five goals and 13 assists in 50 games last season for the Islanders. He has 11 goals and 25 assists in 114 games during his four-year career, which has been spent with the Senators and Islanders.
