The Islanders agreed to terms on Tuesday with goaltender Robin Lehner on a one-year contract.
Lehner had a .908 save percentage and 3.01 goals-against average in 53 games last season with the Sabres.
Lehner, who is from Sweden, was drafted in the second round of the 2009 draft. The 27-year-old spent his last three seasons with the Sabres after playing parts of five seasons with the Senators.
He has a career 2.82 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.
