The Islanders announced RW Josh Ho-Sang's recall has been changed from emergency to regular.
Ho-Sang returned to the Islanders from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Nov. 11, where he scored his first goal of the season against the Blues.
However, Ho-Sang's availibility against the Hurricanes Thusday could be limited as he had a bad stomach bug at the beginning of the week, per Newsday's Arthur Staple. He was held out of practice on Monday and Tuesday, but was seen on the ice Wednesday.
In seven games this season, Ho-Sang has tallied one goal and four assists.
