There will be no hearing or discipline for Calvin de Haan's hit on Jonathan Drouin during the first period of Tuesday night's game between the Islanders and the Lightning, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN.
While there was some head contact on the hit, it has been ruled that the contact to the head was "unavoidable."
The hit led to de Haan receiving a five-minute major, along with a 10-minute misconduct, which paved the way for Tampa Bay's first goal minutes later.
Drouin did not return to the game.
The Islanders would go on to lose 6-1.
