In high school, I drove a 1993 Nissan Altima, handed down to me from my grandpa. I loved that car. The?maroon paint may have?clashed with all the Islanders and Mets decals I littered it with, but it was my baby. From the automatic shoulder harnesses in the front seats, to the light-up spoiler affixed to the back, I loved every single '90s element in that ride.

The one thing my friends would always give me grief about, though, was the sound of the horn. It was high-pitched and whiny, with this cartoon sound effect element mixed in. My buddies and I laughed every time I hit it in anger, because of the hilarious juxtaposition it created. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. After that car saved my life in an accident in 2005, I never thought I'd hear that familiar sound again.
