An old face made an appearance at Devils practice today...

While this normally would make any other Devils coach start shaking uncontrollably, Pete DeBoer's job is about as safe as they come these days. Plus, as Gulitti points out later, Lemaire lives in Florida and often visits the team when they're in town against the Lightning or Panthers. The team still employs him as a "special assignment coach," which is basically fancy language for "Here's some annual retirement money as thanks for saving our ass so many times."
