After finishing Day Three of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Jets waived WR Jalin Marshall and LB Micah Awe.
Marshall signed with the Jets in 2016 as an undrafted free agent, and made a small impact in his rookie year. He hauled in 14 receptions and two touchdowns, while also contributing in the return game.
However, in 2017, Marshall was mostly on the Jets' practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract in January with the team.
Awe, who played with the CFL's BC Lions last season, also signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets back in February. The 24-year-old was a Texas Tech product that signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent back in 2016.
