Jerry Stackhouse returned to the Nets lineup for the first time in 22 games dating back to Jan. 26?in Houston. Stackhouse fittingly returned to action against his former team, the Detroit Pistons, where he became a two-time All-Star and led the NBA with 2,380 points during the 2000-01 season.

As Brooklyn embarked on the first of an eight-game road trip, Stackhouse turned back the clock and provided a spark off the bench after a 51-day layoff between appearances. Stackhouse brought the ?Stack Attack? to the Palace of Auburn Hills and scored 10 points while shooting an efficient five-for-six from the field. Stackhouse also fired up his teammates on the bench with a blocked shot, one of numerous stingy defensive plays by Brooklyn to hold Detroit to 82 points.
