With just a few weeks left until the start of training camp, we want to hear what you think about the team, top to bottom. Who are you expecting to take on a big role for the group? Who's the sleeper? Who's set for a decline in production? Who's unlikely to make the team?
Next up, the running backs …
High risk, high reward seems to be the idea with this group. In moving away from Shonn Greene, the Jets are looking to add a more dynamic element to the offense and the acquisition of Chris Ivory and Mike Goodson are moves made to address just that. But how will Ivory and Goodson respond to a much higher number of touches during an entire NFL season? Can they stand up to the punishment? Then there are the questions about Goodson's charges stemming from an incident in which he was arrested in New Jersey earlier this year. Will that affect his ability to play this season due to a trial schedule and/or possible league schedule? Behind these two, are holdovers from last year Bilal Powell and Joe McKnight. Powell outplayed Greene once given the chance last year, and McKnight has been a special teams standout. The team's Offensive coordinator has also had some good things to say about John Griffin.
So, what do you think, who is emerging as the third running back from this group, and how will this group fare on the whole?
