Previous Reports (Dec. 19)
8:00PM: Jets QB Bryce Petty is dealing with a bruised chest after being forced out of Saturday night's 34-13 loss to Miami, head coach Todd Bowles confirmed Monday on The Michael Kay Show.
"We just have to see how he feels tomorrow," Bowles said. "He's sore, but he's a lot better than we thought he would be."
Petty had a CT scan on Sunday to make sure he didn't have a bruised or punctured lung. X-rays at the stadium were negative.
The team has not yet decided who will start on Saturday against the Patriots.
"I'll be good," Petty told reporters after the game. "A little sore right now, but I'll be fine."
