While the Jets will head into Monday night with injury issues of their own, the Browns will also be without a key defensive player.
Browns safety Damarious Randall reported to the team facility on Saturday with a concussion and will not play on Monday night at MetLife Stadium, the team announced.
Randall, a former first round pick of the Packers in 2015, was acquired by the Browns prior to the 2018 season. He's played in 16 games for Cleveland, intercepting four passes and recovering a fumble.
The Browns allowed 43 points in Week 1 to the Titans, and while nine of those points came off of a safety and a Baker Mayfield pick-six, but the Browns defense allowed 339 yards of total offense, and will not be without one of their better players on the defensive side.
Three other Browns have also been ruled out: T Kendall Lamb, RB Dontrell Hilliard, and LB Adarius Taylor. Meanwhile, WR Rashard Higgins, G Joel Bitonio, DE Chris Smith, and QB Drew Stanton are all questionable to play.
