Jets CB Morris Claiborne likened the safety duo of rookies Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye to the Cowboys' Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott of last season.
Claiborne played with the Cowboys' duo last year, and he noticed many similarities between his new and old teammates.
"Both of these guys can have the impact those guys had on the offensive side of the ball," Claiborne told the NY Daily News' Evan Grossman.
Adams and Maye have both got off to hot starts to begin their NFL careers. Claiborne admires their level of play at such a young age.
"You got two rookies out there in their first year and to take on the assignments that they're taking on this season and the way they've been playing has been unbelievable," Claiborne said."
Adams, the Jets' first round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, has tallied 16 tackles including one sack so far this season. The second-rounder in Maye has notched 19 tackles while both rookies have yet to secure an interception.
