Jeane Coakley: You're a Jersey boy. Does it feel good to be home?
Antonio Garay: It’s like playing backyard street ball for me. It’s fun. I'm happy to be home. I'm excited to be home. I have about 70, 80 family members in my hometown of Rahway. I have a lot of family here that, if I’m not playing well, I don’t just have to hear it from my coaches and teammates, I will hear it from my family members and my community. So, I'm making sure I’m doing what I have to do and do what I am supposed to do. I don’t have any easy moments, so to say.
Coakley: What’s it like working with a guy like Rex Ryan?
Garay: It’s fun. There are probably a thousand words you can use to describe the man, but he definitely makes things fun, makes it light. He knows how to have a good time. I think all of his players feel it. They get the good vibes. How he talks to us it’s not an act, it’s not a show and guys feed into it. They want to play. He’s a great motivational guy that believes in all his players.
