The Jets have issued tenders to all nine of their exclusive rights free agents for the 2019 season, SNY's Ralph Vacchiano confirmed on Thursday.
The list of tenders is as follows:
- QB Davis Webb,
- LB Frankie Luvu,
- S Doug Middleton,
- LB Anthony Wint,
- DB Jeremy Clark,
- WR Deontay Burnett,
- RB De'Angelo Henderson,
- OL Ben Braden,
- DL Bronson Kaufusi
Highlighting the list is Webb, who the Jets picked up after the Giants cut him during preseason last year. The 24-year-old Cal product has yet to see regular season action over his first two seasons, but the Jets seem impressed by what he brings to the table. As it is unknown whether or not Josh McCown will return for another season, Webb would be set to serve as Sam Darnold's backup in 2019.
Other notables from the list are Middleton and Henderson. Middleton saw time in seven games that included four starts in 2018. He totaled 27 combined tackles and three passes defended in that span. Henderson saw a little bit of time as well, with 19 yards on two rushing attempts in three games.
All of these players will make the league minimum salary next season, as is the case for all ERFAs.
