Pierre Desir might not be a factor but Duke Johnson is the sort of fleet-footed running back who can create yardage in space that I thought the Jets would look to acquire this offseason. In fact, I liked the chances of the Jets drafting Johnson. While he's yet to prove it on an NFL field, some scouts compared Johnson to a cross-between LeSean McCoy and Jamaal Charles.
Since being drafted by Cleveland, Johnson has struggled to stay healthy through training camp but is the sort of dynamic threat who could spell trouble for the Jets. The Jets outside linebackers and safeties will have to be very aware of when Johnson is on the field to avoid any potential gaffes like the Jets were victims to at the hands of Ameer Abdullah during the preseason.
