Joe Douglas may not be the only new addition to the Jets front office.
The newly-hired GM is looking to build a staff around him and is considering ESPN college football analyst Todd McShay, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.
McShay, who has never worked in an NFL front office, told Cimini that he is one of several options Douglas is considering. The two were teammates together at the University of Richmond.
On Friday night, Gil Brandt -- a senior analyst for NFL.com and former Cowboys VP of player personnel -- reported that Douglas had asked Daniel Jeremiah, a former scout and NFL Network analyst, to join him but Jeremiah declined.
Brandt added Douglas is also considering Phil Savage, the former Browns GM, who was recently GM of the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football league and was the Senior Bowl's executive director for six years prior to that.
