Fordham RB Chase Edmonds spoke with SNY's Ralph Vacchiano on Thursday at the NFL Combine, saying that he's ready to dominate in the NFL.
"I hope to show that not only do I belong here, but I can dominate here at this level," Edmonds said. "I'm just looking to show that I can compete with the best and I can play with the best."
The 21-year-old Edmonds spoke about needing to prove himself after struggling during an injury-filled senior year after a great first three years with the Rams.
"I feel a little bit forgotten about," he said. "So I came here with a chip on my shoulder, just looking to show again that I can be dominant."
Edmonds was limited to seven games and rushed 136 times for 577 yards with five touchdowns this past season for Fordham.
He was one of the most prolific running backs in college football during his first three seasons, eclipsing 19 touchdowns and avaraging at least 6 yards per carry each year.
