2:25PM: Jets RB Matt Forte underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Friday, head coach Todd Bowles told reporters on Monday.
Bowles said the team is hoping Forte will be ready to participate in New York's offseason training in the spring.

6:55PM: The Jets have placed injured running back Matt Forte on injured reserved and have added defensive back Bryson Keeton to their active roster, the team announced Friday.
Forte had been dealing with a knee injury and sat out Week 16's game against the Patriots and was ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Bills.
In his first season with the Jets, Forte rushed for 813 yards and had seven touchdowns.
Keeton, who played with the team during the preseason, had been on the practice squad this year.
