The Jets added free agent cornerback John Ojo on Friday. The 6'3, 205 lb former Edmonton Eskimo has spent the past three years in the Canadian Football League.
His CFL run was highlighted by a 41 tackle, five interception season in 2015.
A Grey Cup champion, Ojo's 2016 was cut short in the preseason thanks to an Achillies tendon injury.
The newest Gang Green defensive back placed collegiately at Florida A&M before going undrafted in 2014. The Jets will be the first NFL club to bring him to camp.
In addition to Ojo, the Jets currently have seven other CBs on the roster at this time. That list is headlined by veteran, Morris Claiborne.
