Another day, another offensive lineman signing for the Jets.
After already agreeing to deals with George Fant, Connor McGovern, and Alex Lewis earlier this week, the Jets have now signed guard/center Josh Andrews, according to his agent.
Andrews, 28, is a six-year NFL veteran out of Oregon State. Originally an undrafted signing by the Philadelphia Eagles, Andrews bounced back and forth between the Eagles practice squad and active roster during his first season, but made the active roster and appeared in 13 games for the Eagles in 2015 as a reserve lineman.
He signed with the Vikings prior to the 2018 season. But after landing on IR, he was waived and rejoined the Eagles practice squad.
The Colts picked Andrews up off the Eagles practice squad in November 2018, and he went on to appear in nine games for them over the last two seasons.
The 6-2, 298-pound Andrews has the ability to play both center and guard, and he could factor in as a depth piece for Gang Green for the upcoming season.
