Jets DB Brian Poole was fined $10,527 by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct during last Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
With 3:21 left in the first half, Poole made a strong play, tripping up Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette in the backfield on a third-and-goal play from the Jets' six-yard line.
After the whistle, Poole stood up and began clapping in Fournette's face. The Jags back must have had an issue with Poole's actions and said something in Poole's direction, as it was Fournette who was flagged on the play, not Poole.
Poole is in his first season with the Jets, after playing the first three years of his pro career with the Atlanta Falcons.
In seven games for Gang Green, Poole has made five starts while playing primarily in the nickel position. He's forced one fumble while tallying 40 total tackles, and is yet to come up with an interception.
