The Jets are expected to sign LB Kevin Pierre-Louis to a two-year deal worth $6 million, a source confirmed to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.
The contract includes $2.5 million in guaranteed money.
Pierre-Louis spent the 2017 season with the Chiefs after he was traded from the Seahawks last summer. He was drafted by Seattle in the fourth round of the 2014 draft.
Following a traffic stop early this year, the 26-year-old Pierre-Louis was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, driving without a valid license, and failing to show a valid plate.
Pierre-Louis recorded a career-high 25 tackles in 14 games in 2017. He has played 48 games through four seasons, including one start in 2015 with Seattle.
