The Jets have extended the contracts of head coach Todd Bowles and GM Mike Maccagnan, the team announced Friday. The extensions are for two years, reports SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.
"We have a plan that we're going forward with and everybody is on the same page, so we're going forward," Bowles said.
Bowles' deal was set to expire after the 2018 season.
The team had been expected to retain the 54-year-old Bowles, who has guided the team to a 5-10 record this season after going 5-11 in 2016. He led the team to a 10-6 record in 2015, during what was his first year at the helm.
Maccagnan has served as GM since 2015, joining the Jets after spending 14 years working for the Houston Texans.
