Head coach Adam Gase announced earlier on Friday that Sam Darnold is out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, and the team's official injury report didn't offer much better news.
Linebacker CJ Mosley (groin) and guard Kelechi Osemele (shoulder/knee) are both officially listed as doubtful, while linebacker Jordan Jenkins (calf) is out.
At this point, it's more likely than not that the Jets will be without Mosley and Osemele as they try to upset the Eagles on the road and secure their first win of the season.
Mosley hasn't played since the Jets' Week 1 loss to Buffalo, when he injured his groin in the second half. The Jets' prized defensive acquisition of this past offseason could potentially miss his third straight game.
Osemele's injury is a fairly new one, as the guard hurt his shoulder during Wednesday's practice and is "pretty banged up right now," according to Gase. If Osemele can't go, Alex Lewis would likely get the start up front for Gang Green.
Jenkins missed the Jets' Week 3 matchup with the Patriots, and his absence -- combined with Mosley potentially missing the game as well -- could leave New York very shorthanded at linebacker.
Meanwhile, defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, wide receiver Josh Bellamy, and tight end Dan Brown are all listed as questionable.
