For the second straight day, Jets QB Sam Darnold was officially listed as a limited participant in practice, and while his status for Sunday is the biggest storyline heading into the matchup with the Eagles, the Jets also have some other notable names who are in danger of missing the game.
Linebacker CJ Mosley (groin), guard Kelechi Osemele (shoulder/knee), and linebacker Jordan Jenkins (calf) all missed Thursday's practice.
Mosley hasn't played since the Jets' Week 1 loss to Buffalo, when he injured his groin in the second half. He proved in the first half of that game how much of a difference-maker he can be for the defense, returning an interception for a touchdown. The Jets' prized defensive acquisition of this past offseason could potentially miss his third straight game.
Osemele's injury is a fairly new one, as the guard hurt his shoulder during Wednesday's practice and is "pretty banged up right now." If Osemele can't go, Alex Lewis would get the start up front for Gang Green.
Jenkins missed the Jets' Week 3 matchup with the Patriots, and his absence -- combined with Mosley's -- could leave New York very shorthanded at linebacker.
Meanwhile, defensive lineman Quinnen Williams was a limited participant for the second straight day as he continues to deal with a calf injury.
