Monday Night Football was a heck of a game for Jets safety Jamal Adams.

The first storyline surrounding him following the 23-3 loss for his team to the Cleveland Browns was him being pulled from the game by head coach Adam Gase late in the contest.

Now there's a fine and some backlash to discuss.

Adams took to social media to announce he was fined $21,000 by the NFL for a hit he laid on Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield on a third down in the first quarter.

The defensive back slammed into Mayfield as he chased him out of the pocket. Following the play there were some discussions between the two teams and a flag was thrown for roughing the passer. Adams was visibly upset and threw his hands up after the personal foul penalty.

Adams was upset on Wednesday evening, too. He took to social media and called the fine he received "Bull----!"

Adams added, "This league is a damn joke!" and "I signed up to play football not two hand touch." He also doesn't sound like he's going let the fine change his game as he claims he's going to "play MY brand of football everytime I step on the field."
