Is Jamal Adams the LeBron James of the NFL?

When it comes to his recruiting efforts, he just may be. At least according to Adams.

The Jets safety, who was in New York City on Thursday to unveil the team's new uniforms, likened himself to the NBA star when asked about his efforts on recruiting Le'Veon Bell to sign with the Jets.

"Just call me LeBron," he told reporters.

Bell said that Adams was persistent in his efforts and the persuasion certainly made the star running back feel welcomed in New York.

"Jamal did his thing recruiting," Bell said after he signed a four-year, $52 million deal. "He was on my line constantly … texting me, tweeting me ... Instagram ... everything. ... that somebody wanted me that much … a team wanted me that much. So, I'm glad to be here. He's definitely a huge part. He made it happen. You got to give him a lot of credit."

Adams, who does not shy away from the spotlight, also appeared to be a big fan of the Jets' new uniforms that they were unveiling, telling the crowd that if they did not like them they better go get a drink.
