The Jets' Jamal Adams is a man of his word as the star safety said he would be active in recruiting more "dawgs" to play alongside next season.

In the midst of rumors that Steelers WR Antonio Brown requested a trade, Adams made it known that the Jets would appreciate Steelers' the seven-time Pro Bowler.

Brown has arguably been the best receiver in the league, and totaled 1,297 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in 2018. It is no secret the Jets could use a No. 1 receiver for QB Sam Darnold to work with -- even after the team recently signed WR Quincy Enunwa to a four-year, $36 million extension.

Adams has also been active when it comes to the Jets' head coaching search, as he indicated who he would like the next Jets head coach to be on Tuesday. Expect Adams to continue his recruitment as the offseason progresses.
