The Jets' lone Pro Bowler appears to have a preferred choice for the team's next head coach.

Jets safety Jamal Adams began following USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury on Instagram shortly after it was reported that he would interview for the Jets' head coaching position.

Adams did not stop there, either.

After SNY tweeted out a screenshot of the follow and suggested Kingsbury may be Adams' top choice, the 23-year-old safety retweeted it with the comment, "U damn right!"

While Adams never played for Kingsbury, the former Texas Tech head coach has appeal as a creative offensive-minded coach and has previously garnered NFL interest.

Kingsbury, 39, was contacted by Rams head coach Sean McVay about potentially joining his staff in November after Kingsbury was fired at Texas Tech. He has also spent time working with NFL quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield and Davis Webb.

As for Adams, this was not the first time he has done some campaigning on social media.

He previously expressed desire for the Jets to sign Tyrann Mathieu and Dez Bryant, but neither landed with Gang Green.

Perhaps he will have better luck this time.
