Jets LB Dylan Donahue was charged with DWI and reckless driving after causing a wrong-way crash in the Lincoln Tunnel early Monday morning, per NJ.com's Caitlin Mota.
The 25-year-old injured four of the 15 passengers who were on the jitney bus he hit at 2 a.m. this morning. A Port Authority police officer saw Donahue avoid traffic cones, drive into the center tunnel into oncoming traffic, Port Authority spokeman Joe Pentangelo said.
A fifth-round pick by the Jets last season, Donahue failed the sobriety and Breathalyzer tests at the scene, and was immediately placed under arrest. He was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction during the investigation as well. The Jets have not yet made a comment on the arrest.
Donahue was active in only four games last season, where he was a backup and special teams player. He made five tackles in those games, but would be sidelined for the rest of the season for an elbow injury that occurred during the team's Week 4 matchup against the Jaguars.
