The Jets have a favorite for the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year Award in running back Le'Veon Bell.
BetOnline recently released odds for the honor, and Bell is tied with 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as the favorite to win the award at 4/1 odds.
Bell, 27, would be a true comeback, as he signed a four-year deal worth $52.5 million and $35 million guaranteed this offseason after sitting out the entire 2018 season while looking for a new contract from the Steelers.
The five-year vet has vaulted over the 1,000-yard rushing plateau three times in his career and is also a dynamic option in the passing game. In three of his five seasons, Bell has at least 75 receptions out of the backfield as well.
Bell hasn't taken a carry for the Jets yet this preseason, though.
Behind Bell and Garoppolo, Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is listed at 10/1 odds and Panthers quarterback Cam Newton sits at 14/1 odds. Six other players are tied with 16/1 odds.
New York's other player with odds listed by BetOnline is Giants quarterback Eli Manning. He's among the longshots at 33/1 odds. Nine players were given 33/1 odds, in total, which was the longest odds released by BetOnline for the award.
