After losing to the Saints on Sunday, the Jets (5-9) currently own the No. 10 spot in the 2018 NFL Draft.
The Jets, who have lost their last two games, are currently ahead of the Cardinals, Raiders, Redskins, and Dolphins -- who all sit at 6-8 on the season. The Bengals and Broncos are also 5-9 this year, but being that the Jets' strength of schedule is higher, they get the later pick.
In Todd McShay's first mock draft, he had the Jets addressing their defensive line as he sees them taking LSU DE Arden Key. He calls key the best edge rusher out of this year's draft class, and with it unknown whether Muhammad Wilkerson is returning next season, Key would likely be an immediate player.
Also, the Jets have been linked to offensive linemen. Notre Dame's Quenton Nelson and Mike McGlinchey are two of the best coming out of the draft, and would make impacts on both the run and passing game.
The Jets have two games against the Chargers on Christmas Eve followed by a meeting with the Patriots on New Year's Eve to wrap up their season.
