On the day that veterans reported for Jets training camp, the team announced that both CB Brian Poole and OL Toa Lobendahn have been placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury List.

The Jets have not yet announced the exact nature of the injuries, though the injuries had to have occurred away from the football field for this designation to be used.

Both players will continue to count against the Jets' 90-man roster and both can be removed from the NFI List once they are medically cleared.

Poole signed a one-year deal with the Jets this past offseason and is slated to be the team's primary nickel corner. Originally an undrafted free agent out of Florida, Poole made a name for himself in the slot with the Falcons, intercepting four passes and breaking up 20 during his three seasons in Atlanta.

Lobendahn joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent this offseason. He started 34 games for USC at various positions along the offensive line.

Meanwhile, the Jets also signed TE Temuchin "Bucky" Hodges

Hodges spent time with the Jets last summer before spending most of the season on the Steelers practice squad. He was originally a sixth-round draft pick by the Vikings in 2017. Hodges will look to provide some depth at tight end with Chris Herndon suspended for the first four weeks.
