The Jets have signed long snapper Thomas Hennessey to a four-year contract extention, the team announced Saturday. According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, the deal is worth up to $4.4 million, with $1 million of that guaranteed.
The 25-year-old was undrafted out of Duke in and signed with the Colts, but before he suited up for them, he was acquired by the Jets via trade in May of 2017. He hasn't missed a game as the team's long snapper since.
Hennessey is also a local product, having played his high school football at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J.
