The Jets are bringing in free agent WR Rishard Matthews for a workout Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The 29-year-old veteran was cut by the Titans last month after he requested a release due to his unhappiness with his playing time. He registered just three catches and 11 receiving yards over the first three weeks of the season.
But with Quincy Enunwa out between three and four weeks with a high-ankle sprain, the Jets are looking for a stopgap at wide receiver.
In six-plus seasons with Miami and Tennessee, Matthews has 228 catches with 3,147 yards (13.8 yards per catch) with 21 touchdowns.
He had four TDs in 14 games last season with the Titans.
