After saying he wouldn't join the Jets for $60 million, Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell, a pending free agent, told TMZ exactly what it would take to secure his services.
"A hundred Ms," Bell said, referring to $100 million. "Hey, listen to me: I play running back, but they've got to respect me like I am, man."
When asked what he thought about Jets S Jamal Adams' tweet mentioning he'd run to the bank to get the money, Bell continued to play along.
"Hey, go to the bank and get a hundred," Bell said. "I already talked to Jamal. Me and Jamal are cool. That's my guy."
Bell, 25, responded to a fan's tweet last week asking what amount of money it would take for him to join the Jets.
He rushed 321 times for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Bell added 85 receptions for 655 yards and two TDs.
The Jets will have roughly $100 million to spend this offseason, with free agency beginning on March 14.
