TMZ Sports released audio from Le'Veon Bell's told the 911 operator that two women left his house with more than $500,000 worth of jewelry.
Bell reported to police on May 25 that he returned home from the gym to find jewelry missing and his closets had been rummaged through.
On the phone call, Bell told the Hollywood (Florida) Police Department that when he returned home from his workout, the two girls "took my money, they took my watch, my jewelry, a couple more of my things of value out of my house."
"I don't know where they're at," he added. "I tried to call them before I called you guys. I tried to call them and they're not answering me, and they're ignoring me."
When the 911 dispatch asked Bell to describe what one of the women was wearing, he replied, "When I left, she was in the bed not wearing clothes."
Asked about the second woman, Bell said, "The same way. She was in the bed, too."
Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract with the Jets this offseason.
The incident is still under investigation.
