Jets WR Brandon Marshall has only been matched up against Dolphins CB Byron Maxwell once, but Marshall said he does not like the style the cornerback plays with on the field.
Marshall played against Maxwell last season when the corner was on the Eagles. According to Marshall, Maxwell gets away with plenty of penalties.
"I'm being honest with you, I've never had a conversation with this guy," Marshall said, according to reporters. "He seems like a really nice guy, doesn't say much on the field, but because he holds on every play, I don't like him.
"We played him last year in Philly, and he holds on every single play. Every single play he held."
Despite the Jets losing and Marshall fumbling a ball that led to a score, he did have 109 receiving yards on 10 catches, including one touchdown. Marshall said he is confident he can play that well again this Sunday.
"I'm just going to bring it to him this game," Marshall said. "I'll hold him, push him around if that's the type of game it's going to be."
