Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been charged with soliciting prostitution in Jupiter, Florida, in a human trafficking investigation.
Kraft was among 25 people charged by Jupiter Police in a seven-month investigation, police said Friday.
Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr said at a press conference that there were alleged two incidents of Kraft going to Orchids of Asia, a spa in Jupiter, adding that there is video evidence of all people being charged.
The investigation resulted in 10 spas being shut down.
A spokesperson for Kraft said they "categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further."
Kraft, 77, bought the Patriots in 1994 for $175 million, and the franchise now has a net worth of $6.6 billion, according to Forbes. The team, the Jets' main AFC East rivals, has won six Super Bowls since then and 18 division titles.
