Jets safety Calvin Pryor has been fined $25,000 for his unnecessary roughness penalty he took against the Seahawks on Sunday, he confirmed to reporters on Wednesday.
During the second quarter of the game, Pryor was flagged for hitting Seattle WR Doug Baldwin up high after he caught a 38-yard pass.
"I don't know if it was clean but it definitely wasn't worth $25,000," Pryor said Wednesday.
The Jets have already been fined twice this season, as Eric Decker has been fined twice and Sheldon Richardson has been once. The NFL does not officially come out with the fine list until Friday.
This would be Pryor's first fine from the league.
